I looked through my designs so far and sorted out what garments i had and how many from each category, i found i had a variety of pants but i needed more tops especially (because id been focusing on the outerwear garments and not on the undergarments) and jackets, i also introduced more skirts. As i was designing, a few things i kept in mind to include from my last collection was; frills, big shoulders, design lines, darts/pleats these features were all inspired by the design and architectural aspects of the church as well as the style of wedding dress worn by my nana at her wedding.
As part of the 60's theme and with inspiration from the hat/veil my nana wore on her wedding day i chose to design a series of hat that i could use with my garments. The style i went for were along the lines of 1920's flapper hats. I felt that my garments worked better with the hats as they made the outfit look more complete.
